Visa Requirements

Type of Visa

1. B1 Visa on Arrival (VOA) / e-VOA – 30 days

The B1 visa is a visa on arrival for single entry to Indonesia. The visa is eligible for specific countries with a first stay permit of up to 30 days, starting from the arrival date. Recommended for guest speakers and attendees. 

There is two ways to obtain this visa: (1) At the aiport:  you’ll need a passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, and a VoA fee of IDR 500,000. 2. A1 Visa-Free Entry

Suitable for: guest speakers and participants who has ASEAN passport and A1 exemption countries.

Present the following documents to the immigration officer upon arrival for immigration inspection:

  1. Passport valid for at least 6 months.
  2. Outbound ticket from Indonesia.

The A1 visa exemption arrangement allows for a single entry into Indonesia. This arrangement is available to citizens of specific countries and permits a stay of up to 30 days, starting from the date of arrival. Please note that this stay permit is non-extendable and cannot be converted into any other type of stay permit.

3. C10 Business Event Visa 

Recommended for speakers who:

  • Are receiving compensation, travel support, or accommodation
  • Are officially invited by the committee or sponsor
  • Are attending scientific meetings, research events, or academic forums

Arrival Card

Starting October 1, 2025, all passengers traveling from abroad must complete their arrival card online via this platform: allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id

The e-arrival card can be filled staring 3 days prior to arrival. 

Flights to Manokwari (MKW)

Manokwari (MKW – Rendani Airport) is accessible via domestic connections from Indonesia’s major airports. Best entry Airports for International Travelers:  Jakarta (CGK), Makassar (UPG) — closest access point to Papua.
