Call for Abstract

We welcome abstract submissions related to the following themes:

Flora Malesiana

  • Plant Ecology and Diversity in Malesian Region
  • Systematic and Evolution of Plants
  • Progress on Taxonomy and Nomenclature in Malesian Flora
  • Ethnobotany and Economic Botany
  • Plant Conservation, Local Flora and Citizen Science
  • Major Group of Vascular Plants (Angiosperms, Gymnosperms, Ferns and Lycophytes or based on habits) – Families of Angiospems (Orchidaceae, Rubiaceae, Ericaceae, Myrtaceae, Arecaceae, etc.) – Families of Gymnosperms (Podocarpaceae, Cycadaceae, Araucariaceae, Gnetaceae, Cupressaceae etc.) – Families of Ferns and Lycophytes (Thelypteridacaeae, Polypodiaceae, Cyatheaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Selaginellaceae etc.) – Habits (trees, herbs, ephyphites, climbers, etc).

Nature-based Climate Solutions

  • Policy, sustainable development, and climate financing
  • Sharing ideas and initiaves for Nature-Based Climate Solutions
  • The Role of Indigenous and Local Communities in Sustainable Development
  • Agroforestry, Carbon-Based Economic Models, and Sustainable Forestry
  • The Economic and Ecological Potential of Biodiversity in Climate Resilience
  • Blue Carbon and Mangrove Ecosystem

How to Submit Your Abstract(s):

  • Before you begin: Main author must register from the official website: fmnbcs2025.org / fm-nbcs.papuabaratprov.go.id.
  • Abstracts must be written in English (maximum 300 words) in Word file (.docx) or pdf format and not exceed 10MB.
  • Include title, author(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding email address on top of your abstract.
  • File naming format: Abstract Title_Author’s name. (i.e: Advancing Scientific Research for Sustainable Development_Budi Iriawan.docx).
  • You can submit maximum 3 abstracts following the themes (1 theme 1 abstract).
  • All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee.
  • Selected abstracts will be invited for oral presentations or poster sessions via email.
  • To submit, you can either submit during your online registration or login to your personal dashboard, after you completed the online registration .
  • Login and create your account: Your email address will be used as your username, and you will be asked to ​create a password. Please be aware that the information you enter when creating your account will be used for official Letters of Acceptance, Letters of Invitation, and Conference Programmes, so please ensure correct spelling of names, affiliated institutions, and so forth.

The Organizing Committee provides free registration for eligible lectures and students resided in Tanah Papua (Indonesian New Guinea) based on abstract(s) review. Other students or non-government organization, please contact the Organizing Committee for free registration.
